Follow these instructions to set up your K0N0 panel for your pump jack, rod pump, or long-stroke pump. The Fuji Mega keypad has some important buttons to remember when programming.
- PRG = The PRG button will access the main menu for programming and return to the home screen when in the programming menu
- FUNC/DATA = This button will act as the enter/save button when accessing the menu options
- RESET = This button allows you to go back one page at a time
- SHIFT = This button lets you shift digits when entering numerical values. This button can also be held down to move from parameter when scrolling through parameters
- ARROWs = These are the main buttons you use to navigate through the menu options
Hit the “PRG” button. This button will take you to your menu and return to the main home screen.
Use the down arrow to navigate to option number 2, “Data Check,” and use the “FUNC/DATA” button to enter. (that will be your enter or save button)
Navigate using the arrow button to F01, press “FUNC/DATA,” and then use your arrow button to change the number to a “2.” Save the new value with the “FUNC/DATA” button. When it saves, it will put you back in the parameter list. If you want to verify that it saved correctly, go back to the last parameter you changed, and you will see an asterisk next to the new value, for example, F01 *2.
F01 = set to 1 for terminal 12 speed potentiometer control
F02 = set to 1
F09 = Set to 2.0 for a 2% torque boost
F11 = Set to the FLA on the customers motor name plate + a .5-2 amp increase depending on size of the motor .5 amp up to 40 HP then increase the number for HPs over 40HP.
F14 = 3 retries to continue running after a momentary power failure
F15 = 120Hz Maximum allowed VFD frequency
F26 = Carrier Frequency set to 4
F42 = set to 1 for sensor-less torque vector control
E03 = Set to 11 for shifting frequency control between hand and automatic positions on the 3 position switch
C30 = 2 for 4-20ma speed reference on terminal C1 when a remote POC unit is being used
P01 = Motor speed set to 2=3600rpm, 4=1800 rpm, 6=1200rpm, 8=900rpm
P02 = Set to the actual motor HP … not the VFD HP
P03 = Set to the actual FLA on the motor nameplate with no changes
P04 = Auto-tune set to 1 press the function data button, Message “Start by run command on” comes on screen. Turn the HOA switch to hand, the Message “Executing” comes on screen. After auto-tune is complete “Stop by run command off” comes on the screen. Turn the HOA switch to the off position
H04 = Set to 3 Automatic restart attempts
H05 = Set to 20.0 wait time between retry attempts
H08 = Set to 1 to only allow forward rotation
H11 = Set to 1 on stop command the motor will coast to a stop and not try to control the stop
H69 = Set to 4 Sets the automatic deceleration mode to torque control for regeneration control
H76 = set to 60. This allows the motor to over-speed up to 60Hz greater than the current running speed to try and avoid regeneration
H96 = Set to 1 so the stop key on the keypad will stop the VFD (error ER6 will happen if pushed)
H98 = only if input power is single phase input to VFD. Set to 81. This is a binary 8 digit number change the second to last 1 in the sequence to a zero and then user should be able to see 81 as the total of all set bits. Number will be:
01010011 before changes are made = 83
01010001 after changes are made = 81
