- After powering the unit up, press the PRG button on the keypad
- From the menu, go to 1. Data Set with the down arrow key and press the FUNC/DATA button
- "F00 DATA PRTC" will be displayed, press the FUNC/DATA button
- Once in the parameter, press the down and up buttons, and hold them down for two seconds
- if successful, it will take you to "u00 USER"
- if unsuccessful, repeat step 4.
- You may need to press the down arrow slightly before the up arrow and then continue to hold the buttons down for a few seconds.
- "u00 USER" will be displayed. Use the down arrow to go to u13 and press the FUNC/DATA button to enter the parameter
- A 0 will be displayed, press and hold the STOP button while you press the up arrow to change the value to a 2. Save this value by pressing FUNC/DATA.
- if successful, it will take you to u17.
- if unsuccessful, repeat step 6.
- Press the PRG button to return to the main screen. Pressing the RESET button should clear the fault.
- If the fault clears, shut the VFD's power off and allow the DC Bus to discharge. Depending on the size of your VFD, this may take up to 10 minutes. Return power and ensure that the fault does not return.
If the VFD is still reporting an ECF fault, the control card is corrupted and will need to be replaced. Please contact the ARCC for pricing and availability.
